Cape Canaveral Tour - The 45th Space Wing hosts free three-hour tours of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station that originate from the History Center each Wednesday and Thursday (launch schedule permitting). Visit the History Center - The Air Force Space and Missile History Center, an extension of the museum, is open to the general public six days a week. The History Center is located just outside the south gate of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. Admission is free.
Kennedy Space Center Tour - The museum is accessible to the general public from a bus tour called "Cape Canaveral: Then and Now" that originates from the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. The two and one-half hour tour includes a tour of the museum and stops at several historic sites on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The tour runs 7 days a week, launch schedule permitting.
Employees - If you work on the Cape or at Kennedy Space Center, the museum grounds are open to you seven days a week. Admission to the museum is free. Photography is allowed and encouraged. Bring your lunch and enjoy the historic surroundings. Picnic tables, restrooms, gift shop (limited hours) and soft drink machine are on site. From Phillips Parkway, follow Lighthouse Road toward SLC-17 and look for the museum sign at Complex 26. The museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Many military installations routinely permit entry to active duty military, military retirees, government civilian employees and their dependents with proper identification. This is not the case at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The Cape is a restricted work area and access is permitted only to badged employees and authorized visitors.
