Memory Lane

Since the museum was first created in 1965, exhibits have come and gone. As is normal with most museums, the Air Force Space and Missile Museum changes its exhibits periodically to permit fresh views at historic equipment. Some exhibits are in storage, some have been recalled to loaning museums, and others may be awaiting a time when they will be put back on display.

If you have visited the museum at any time since its creation, you may have remembered a certain rocket or exhibit on your first visit that was missing on following visits. With this page, we invite you to stroll down memory lane and remember some of these older exhibits. The year the photograph was taken is shown with each one.
