- Air Force accepted the launch complex - 10

- Supported the first of 16 Titan I,
first launch 1 July 1960, last launch 13 December 1961
- First "blue suit" (U.S. Air Force crew)
Titan I launch from this pad 21 November 1961
- Pad transferred to space mission 1962
- Modified in 1963 to accommodate a
third stage in September 1963 to support 4 Titan IIIA
launches from 1 September 1964 to 6 May 1965. Following
the last Titan IIIA launch, the launch complex was deactivated
- The complex was programmed to support the
Air Force X-20 DYNA SOAR effort, but program was
cancelled
- Deactivated April 1967
- Sold for salvage 13 June 1967
- Modified by Butler Construction Co. under a SDIO
contract dated 1 November 1988 for 2 Starbird program
Pads 20A & 20B. Work completed
and turned over to the Range December 1989. The facility
consists of two launch pads with 58' rail launchers, two
launch equipment buildings, a launch support center and
a payload assembly building

launch 18 December 1990 from Pad 20A
- Supported a university-sponsored
sub-orbital Joust-1 launch 18 June 1991 with Castor
solid motor; failed
